About Hyebie

I’ve always loved getting my nails done. There’s just something about a fresh set that makes you feel put together - like you can take on anything. But salon trips? Not always so seamless. Trying to squeeze in appointments, sitting for hours, and sometimes walking out with a set that didn’t quite match my inspo board (or the price tag)? It just wasn’t cutting it. And to be clear - it wasn’t the nail techs. They’re incredibly talented.
It was the process that didn’t quite tick all the boxes.

Then there was the practicality. I work a 9-to-5, so I need short, functional nails during the week. But on weekends? I love going all out. Still, I couldn’t justify heading to the salon every few days just to switch it up. It felt like I had to choose between beautiful nails or a schedule and budget that made sense. And honestly - that shouldn’t be the case.

The turning point came a week before my birthday. I’d bought the perfect outfit and wanted a fresh set to match, but between clashing schedules and a last-minute change of plans, I couldn’t get an appointment. So I made my own.

I held up the final set and couldn’t stop staring - this was exactly what I had pictured. Bold, beautiful, and completely me. For the first time, I didn’t need a salon to feel that way. And that’s when it clicked:

What if I could create nails that looked and felt like this - and make them accessible to anyone who’s ever had to settle? No more waiting. No more compromising.

And that’s how Hyebie was born.
